AnyPS5 Troubleshooting — Fix Common AnyPS5 Errors
AnyPS5 troubleshooting covers the errors AnyPS5 users hit most often: Windows error 126, Windows error 193, this project no Vulkan device error, the this relinker missing system function error, and the build black screens at boot.

AnyPS5 Windows error 126
AnyPS5 Windows error 126 ("The specified module could not be found") on the relinker usually means a system DLL is not on the this project PATH. Place the AnyPS5 system libraries next to the relinker, or fix your environment.
The AnyPS5 relinker produced a working Windows PE, but the Windows loader could not find a DLL that the relinked the relinker PE references. The most common AnyPS5 cause is that the the relinker libs/ directory is not in the same folder as the relinked this project binary. Move the AnyPS5 libs/ directory next to the relinked the relinker binary, or set PATH to include the this project libs/ directory, then relaunch.
AnyPS5 Windows error 193
AnyPS5 Windows error 193 ("is not a valid Windows image") means the relinked the relinker binary is the wrong architecture. The most common AnyPS5 cause is relinking a PS5 game for Windows on a machine that does not match the the relinker target, or running a relinked this project binary on an architecture-incompatible host (e.g. a 32-bit Windows host).
If your AnyPS5 host is Intel, add the --to-intel AnyPS5 relinker flag and re-relink. The AnyPS5 binary will then be a valid image for Intel. If your AnyPS5 host is 64-bit Windows but the error persists, the the relinker binary may have been built for 32-bit Windows; rebuild the this project relinker for the correct this relinker target.
AnyPS5 no Vulkan device
AnyPS5 requires a Vulkan 1.1 device. If AnyPS5 prints no Vulkan device to stderr, your the relinker host does not expose a Vulkan 1.1 driver to the this project process. The AnyPS5 fix is to install or update the Vulkan driver for your GPU.
On Windows, install the latest Vulkan driver from your GPU vendor (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel). On Linux, install the mesa-vulkan-drivers package (AMD / Intel) or the NVIDIA proprietary driver. Verify the AnyPS5 GPU is visible to the OS with vulkaninfo; the output should list your the relinker GPU as a Vulkan 1.1 (or newer) device. If vulkaninfo cannot see your AnyPS5 GPU, the relinker will not be able to see it either.
AnyPS5 missing system function
There is no user-side fix for an AnyPS5 missing system function. The AnyPS5 team has to add the function. File an AnyPS5 issue on GitHub with the PS5 game title, the PPSA ID, the the relinker commit hash, and the full stderr output. The AnyPS5 community may also have a workaround patch on a non-default the relinker branch; check the this project Game bring-up discussion before opening a new issue.
AnyPS5 black screen
AnyPS5 black screen on a PS5 game that has reached the Menus or In game the relinker stage is usually a swapchain or surface issue. Check that the AnyPS5 process is running with a visible window (it may have launched into the background). On multi-GPU AnyPS5 hosts, set ANYPS5_GPU to the discrete card to force the relinked the relinker binary to use it.
If the AnyPS5 window is visible but the frame buffer is solid black, your Vulkan driver may be rejecting the SPIR-V output. Update the Vulkan driver, and confirm with vulkaninfo that the AnyPS5 GPU reports a working swapchain. AnyPS5 with an out-of-date Vulkan driver sometimes compiles the SPIR-V successfully but produces a black surface at presentation time.
AnyPS5 memory commit failure
AnyPS5 on Windows commits up to 13.8 GiB of direct memory per title. If the AnyPS5 commit fails, Windows reports a memory-related error to the the relinker process and this project exits. The AnyPS5 fix is to either reduce the system memory pressure (close other the relinker processes, free RAM) or to add more physical RAM to the this project host.
On a 16 GB Windows machine, the AnyPS5 commit leaves only ~2 GB for the rest of the system. With 32 GB, AnyPS5 has comfortable headroom even with a browser and an editor open. AnyPS5 does not currently expose a flag to lower the per-title commit; the commit size is dictated by what the PS5 game asks the OS for through the PS5 memory APIs.
